Development of Actors of Urban Change Project
The City of Wolverhampton Council, Creative Black Country and the University of Wolverhampton, were successful in their bid to the Actor of Urban Change
The Wolverhampton project is called ‘Youth Lab Wolverhampton’ and it’s focus is in developing inclusive creative economies that promote regional development by encouraging young people. Phase one to the Actors of Urban Change to focus on the Town’s Deal bid. A survey for young people has been designed by the Corporate Parenting Team and Co-Produced with young people, the Town’s Deal Consultants and the University of Wolverhampton Research Team.
This survey will act as a consultation tool for the Town’s Deal Board and also influence the planned Virtual Artist Workshop with Young people from our engaged forums.
It is hoped that this workshop will produce a visual image that will influence the Town’s Deal Board, but also be an exhibit at the British Art Show 2021, which is being opened in Wolverhampton.
Phase two and three of the Actors of Urban Change programme will be develop through the learning of Phase one
